Meet Our Team

Dr. Alison Kinnunen graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has over 20 years experience in emergency and companion animal medicine.  She has a special interest in feline medicine and really enjoys working with cats, even the ‘spicy’ ones!  In addition to daily practice she serves on the board of a feline rescue group.

Outside of work Dr. K enjoys bicycling, traveling, reading and spending time with friends.  She currently shares her home with her adopted cats Solstice, Elliott, Sage, and Rhiannon.

Her special interests in veterinary medicine include challenging internal medicine cases and treatment of chronic diseases. She also loves new puppies and kittens and developing a relationship with the families caring for them through all stages of their lives.
